Outside of Ms. Ndiaye’s class Picasso paintings were displayed. All third graders read a story about Picasso. The story described Picasso’s background information and his artwork. The third graders made paintings based on Picasso’s cubism rose period, and blue period. The blue period symbolizes Picasso’s sadness and the rose period represents a period full of happiness and love. Some famous paintings that Picasso painted during these periods are The Old Guitarist and Family Saltimbamques. The third graders drawings are beautifully colored and drawn and the displayed paintings are also creative and colorful. Picasso is definitely someone who loves art and the third graders showed that they did too.
